Job summary

U.S. Forensic, LLC, an ATS Family of Companies, seeks a Professional Engineer – Forensic (Structural) to investigate and analyze structural failures in the Ohio area. You will lead forensic casework and provide expert testimony as needed.

The role requires a PE license and a civil/structural engineering degree, plus strong communication and the ability to manage multiple cases concurrently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Experience with expert testimony in legal proceedings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed forensic investigations of structural failures and defects.
• Perform site inspections and gather data for forensic analysis.
• Utilize engineering principles to analyze structural issues.
• Prepare clear technical reports outlining findings and conclusions.
• Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when required.
• Stay current with industry trends, codes, and standards related to structural engineering.
