ProNet Group, Inc. seeks a Forensic Sleuth for Buildings—a Structural or Civil Engineer with a P.E. or S.E. license to investigate collapses, defects, and damages in building envelopes.

Join our expert team in forensic engineering, performing field inspections and expert reporting, with a hybrid work setup offering remote options and on-site visits. You’ll play a key role in uncovering causes and recommending remedies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering required.
• Active professional engineer license in state of application required.
• NCEES certification preferred.
• Experience in forensic investigations and reporting is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Investigate root causes of collapses, moisture intrusion, roof damage, and foundation issues.
• Conduct thorough field inspections of structures and document findings.
• Evaluate damage extent and structural integrity; prepare expert evaluations.
• Prepare professional reports and collaborate with legal teams; may serve as expert witness.
