Job summary

Meaden & Moore, a leading accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a Forensic Staff Accountant in New York, NY to join its Investigative Accounting Group. You will work on forensic engagements, reviewing financial data and assisting with insurance claim evaluations.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance and have intermediate Excel and Word skills. Travel about 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Possess intermediate-level Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Travel overnight, as needed (approximately 10%)

Responsibilities

• Assist with forensic accounting engagements and litigation support.
• Review historical financial and industry information for analysis.
• Prepare revenue and expense projections and evaluate insurance claims.
• Support economic damage evaluations for commercial property insurers.
