Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Forensic Officer II at the Oklahoma Forensic Center in Vinita, OK. This full-time role involves security duties at a 24/7 inpatient facility, including monitoring, patrols, and assisting with the movement of consumers to ensure safety and compliance.

Applicants need a basic security and/or firefighter’s course plus two years of related experience. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with shifts 6:30am-3:00pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm.

Qualifications

• Education and experience include a basic security and/or firefighter’s course and two years of security or fire prevention experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and grounds for fire hazards and ensure safety across the facility.
• Patrol assigned areas, assist staff with patient movement, and respond to medical emergencies or other calls.
