• Performs scientific analysis on evidence items submitted for forensic testing and issues reports.
• Reviews work to ensure compliance with FBI/QA standards and can testify as an expert witness.
• Maintains familiarity with laboratory accreditation and safety policies; may train others and write/validate protocols.
