Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care under a professional practice model. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, and respond to health issues while ensuring patient safety. Travel and coordination with the care team are key components.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, education for patients and families, delegation of tasks, and collaboration with staff to deliver high-quality care within the Texas nursing framework.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• Field of Study: nursing
• Must possess either CA-SANE or SANE-A certification
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN
• Hold a BLS certificate now or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role
• Registered Nurse License

Responsibilities

• As an RN, perform detailed clinical assessments and create, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients, families, nurses and community members on healthcare needs and treatments.
• Delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competencies while ensuring safety and quality of care.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the community to develop and adjust care plans.
