Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) in Georgia seeks a Clinical Director for psychiatric services at a maximum-security forensic facility. Qualifications

• Medical degree recognized by the Georgia Medical Board.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry preferred.
• Active licensure to practice medicine in Georgia.
• Experience supervising psychiatrists is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee forensic psychiatric care.
• Direct inpatient treatment and evaluations for individuals within the criminal justice system.
• Hire, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Manage HR, budgeting, and implement data-driven care improvements.
• Monitor program effectiveness and adapt strategies for public health systems.
