Job summary

HNL Lab Medicine is seeking a full‑time Forensic Pathologist to perform post‑mortem examinations and determine cause of death. You will review medical history, interpret laboratory findings, and prepare autopsy reports for medicolegal cases in collaboration with the Coroner’s Office.

The role includes testifying in court or depositions as required, with opportunities to participate in educational programs and lead a team of assistants.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with PA licensure.
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited pathology residency.
• Forensic pathology fellowship completed; board eligibility within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform post-mortem examinations and determine cause of death.
• Review decedents' medical histories and consult with Coroner’s office.
• Dictate and prepare comprehensive autopsy reports.
• Testify in court, depositions, or consultations as needed.
