Job summary

Qualifications

• One year as Clerical Assistant 2 or equivalent clerical experience.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Evidence Receipt: Process incoming forensic evidence and verify submission requirements.
• Storage Management: Store evidence per protocols and maintain accurate location records.
• Evidence Returns: Document custody transfers and coordinate returns to submitting agencies.
• Administrative Tasks: Prepare documents, reports, and supply orders to support lab operations.
• Evidence Distribution: Distribute analysis requests and ensure containers are sealed and identified.
• Communication Support: Answer calls and assist law enforcement with lab procedure inquiries.
