Family Services Inc is seeking a Forensic Program Clinician in Poughkeepsie to provide counseling and therapy services to incarcerated individuals. This part-time role involves facilitating therapy groups, conducting assessments, and collaborating with partners in the justice system. The ideal candidate will hold a social work or counseling license and contribute to improving clients' reintegration into society.
Title:Forensic Program Clinician, LMSW or LMHC
Pay Rate:$34.00 per hour
Supervisor:Forensic Clinical Supervisor
Status:Part-Time, Non-Exempt, 28 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8-hour workday for with an hour lunch break
Overview:
The Forensic Program Clinician provides group based and individual counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals who are incarcerated at the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center as part of a jail-based team working in the Re-Entry Stabilization, Transition And Reintegration Track (RESTART) program. The qualified candidate will be a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Candidates with Limited Permits are encourage to apply. Employment is contingent upon receipt of full licensure.
