Job summary

Eastern State Hospital in Spokane is seeking Nurse Assistants to work as Forensic Care Associates under RN supervision. You will learn behavioral health treatments while delivering care, de-escalation, and patient support for those awaiting restoration.

On-site opportunities may include premium pay; evening/night shifts include a differential. Full-time, part-time, and on-call positions are available with comprehensive benefits and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• WA NAR/NAC/CNA or MA credential preferred or required.
• Able to work in behavioral health settings with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and contribute to patient safety and comfort.
• Assist with activities, medications, and treatments under RN supervision.
• De-escalate behaviors in a calm, non-threatening manner.
• Maintain ward cleanliness, safety, and documentation of vitals.
• Escort patients to appointments and participate in treatment plans.
