The State of South Carolina's Office of the State Inspector General seeks a Program Manager I to lead investigative teams focusing on fraud, waste and abuse across Executive Branch agencies. The role emphasizes forensic accounting and auditing of state operations to identify waste and opportunities for statewide improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
Experience leading investigative teams.
Experience in procurement audits or financial matters in public schools or public charter schools.
Ability to independently plan investigations and audits.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise investigative teams in complex fraud, waste, and abuse investigations and audits.
Focus on forensic accounting in fraud matters and auditing of state agency operations.
Develop investigative objectives, strategies, and final conclusions.
Present clear written and oral reports to agency leadership.
