Job summary

Cascadia Health is seeking a Community Addiction & Recovery Counselor II to provide person-centered care in NE Portland. This role is vital in supporting individuals to achieve their goals through collaborative efforts with an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a CADC-R certification and at least one year of experience. This position requires effective communication skills, teamwork, and knowledge of trauma-informed care practices. A generous benefits package, including medical coverage and a retirement plan, is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least a CADC‑R with completion of an Addictions Counseling program and eligible for a CADC I.
• Minimum of one year’s experience serving the addiction needs of individuals.
• Valid driver’s license with one year driving history, clean record.

• Collaborate within a team to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide Alcohol and Drug Assessments and develop service plans.
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions.
