Job summary

Meaden & Moore, a leading accounting firm, is seeking a Forensic Accounting Manager in a hybrid work environment in Los Angeles. The role focuses on forensic accounting, litigation support, and economic damage evaluations for insurers and clients.

Five or more years of experience in public accounting is preferred. The successful candidate will lead engagements, supervise staff, and develop advanced accounting skills in complex property damage and business interruption claims while building

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor or advanced degree (Accounting or Finance preferred)
• CPA license preferred but not required
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel)
• Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Travel overnight, as needed (approximately 20%)

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple, concurrent assignments in forensic accounting and investigations.
• Supervise the analysis and schedule preparation of staff.
• Develop solid technical accounting skills and understanding of complex property damage, business interruption, and extra expense claims.
• Develop business contacts and networking.
• Recruit, train and develop staff.
