What you’ll do as a Foreman Wireless
- Lead a crew and jobsite on a variety of projects including small cell, mods, NSBs, and maintenance.
- Work with a team to get jobs completed safely, on time, and efficiently.
- Complete closeout packages and punch corrections as needed
- Travel to and from job sites
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- 3+ years Telecom/Wireless construction experience
- Knowledge of wireless construction practices
- RF installation practices and procedures
- Ability to professionally interact with customer representatives, city employees, and property owners
- Good verbal and written communication skills are a MUST
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word/Excel)
- Must have a valid driver's license and transportation
- Must be able to maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement
- Must be able to operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
- Must be able to work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses, hardhat, and any applicable safety gear
- Must be comfortable working at heights in a manlift or other aerial lift device, and/or on a tower
- Must be able to work independently to complete tasks on a daily basis
- Detail oriented
Additional qualifications (if applicable)
- Sweep/PIM/fiber test experience/certificates a plus
- RF awareness certificate a plus
- Tower Climb and Rescue certificates a plus
- Aerial Lift certification a plus
Physical abilities & exposures
- Routinely:
- Must be able and willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 40 to 90 pounds
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl while performing work
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders
- Must be able to work in small/confined areas
Salary Range $26 - $32 / hour (D.O.E)
