Job summary

Zachry Construction Corporation is seeking a Wall Foreman to lead a crew building Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls on heavy civil projects across the United States. You will supervise installation of prefab concrete wall systems, monitor production, and manage material needs while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in heavy civil construction with MSE experience, proven supervision, and strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of heavy civil construction experience with MSE wall construction.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of prefab concrete materials and wall alignment techniques.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather 90% of the time.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on uneven terrain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct daily/weekly crew activities to meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety.
• Read and interpret blueprints, project specs, and cost reports to track progress and resolve material discrepancies.
• Supervise installation of prefab concrete wall systems and other MSE components.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials for timely completion.
• Train and mentor crew members with hands-on feedback.
• Maintain daily reports, timekeeping, and equipment logs.
• Enforce safety policies through toolbox talks and inspections.
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to align operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Zachry Construction is seeking a Wall Foreman to lead and manage a crew responsible for constructing various Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) wall types on heavy civil construction projects. The Wall Foremanis responsible forensuring production goals are met, monitoring material quantities and costs, andmaintainingsafety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to effectively manage daily operations and crew performance.

WhatYou'llDo

• Plan and direct daily and weekly crew activities to meet production goals whilemaintainingquality, safety, and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and cost reports to track progress and resolve material discrepancies.
• Supervise and manage the installation of prefabricated concrete wall systems and other MSE wall components.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to ensuretimelycompletion of assigned work.
• Train, mentor, and develop crew members through hands-on instruction and performance feedback.
• Maintainaccuratedaily reports, timekeeping, and equipment logs.
• Enforce company safety policies through toolbox talks, regular inspections, and positive reinforcement.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure operational alignment.
• Perform otherduties asassigned by the supervisor.

• Minimum of 3 years of heavy civil construction experience working with MSE wall construction.
• Proven supervisory experiencerequired.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and task-oriented leader.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions up to 90% of the time.
• Physical ability tolift upto 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work on uneven terrain.
• Experience with Mobile Timecard or similar systems preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Must be licensed and approved tooperatea company vehicle.
• Must be able to climb ladders andscaffoldingand walk on uneven surfaces across active construction sites.
