Job summary

Zachry Construction Corporation seeks a Dirt Foreman to lead a crew performing earthwork on heavy civil projects. You will ensure production goals are met, manage schedules, and maintain safety and quality standards on site.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and field teams while reporting daily logs and equipment records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on earthwork operations.
• Proven supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of grading, excavation, and soil stabilization processes.
• Experience with GPS, robotics, and other survey technologies preferred.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and task-oriented leader.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions up to 90% of the time.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience with Mobile Timecard or similar systems preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• Must be licensed and approved to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding and walk on uneven terrain across active construction sites.

Position Summary
