Job summary

InProduction is seeking a Supervisor for overseeing installation and dismantling of event equipment. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years in a supervisory role, preferably in tent and mezzanine structures or construction management. Responsibilities include managing safety standards, overseeing multiple crews, and ensuring client satisfaction. Extensive travel within the US (50%+) is required. Job Description

Supervise installation and dismantling of equipment, including the construction and breakdown of Tent and Mezzanine Structures, scaffolding, guardrail, and other items. Oversee and enforce company safety standards. Oversee operations of multiple crews for live event projects.

• Manage and direct the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment in accordance with project specific plans and layouts
• Study plans, blueprints, and equipment lists prior to on‑site installation
• Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
• Oversee fall protection requirements while constructing / dismantling structures
• Ensures that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift
• Supervise, train and evaluate the performance of assigned team; prepare and administer corrective actions as needed
• Manage and direct the loading and unloading of equipment and materials form truck and vehicles
• Budget management; organize and oversee costs and expenditures
• Ensure the timely submittal and accuracy of crew sheets, time cards and job reports
• Work with customers to ensure full client satisfaction in relation to the quality of service and finished product within planned time schedules

Requirements

Location / Travel

• Extensive travel in the US 50% + of the time on the road

Work Environment

• Work in different environments, primarily outdoors
• Wearing of safety clothing and equipment may at times be required

Job Requirements

• 2-4 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity, preferably in professional Tent and Mezzanine Structures and/or Construction Management
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record; must meet the requirements to operate company vehicles
• Customer service oriented
• Tolerance for the physical demands of working outdoors
• Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time
• Able to lift-up to 75Ibs
• Proficient written, verbal, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Frequent travel in the US and possibly abroad, 50% - 90% of the time
• OSHA training or certification a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Valid US Passport a plus, but not required
