Job summary

North Sky Communications, LLC is seeking a Foreman to supervise crews on our Telecom Underground projects in Sacramento, ensuring timely installation and maintenance of underground telecom systems while enforcing safety policies.

You will lead training, read blueprints, coordinate with property owners, and ensure OSHA/DOT compliance, operating in all weather and guiding day-to-day activities on site.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• A valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent now or in combination with education/work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure everyone follows safety policies, OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Foreman Telecom Underground is$32.00 - $40.00.
