Job summary

Texstar Enterprises, LLC, seeks a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team to lead crews in installing and maintaining underground telecom systems. You will ensure safety protocols and project timelines are followed while coordinating with the supervisor on daily tasks.

You will train crew members, read blueprints, and engage with property owners to resolve issues. The role requires operating heavy equipment and working in all weather conditions, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• A valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
