Job summary

Quality Labor Management (QLM) seeks experienced structural welders for an Intel Chandler field project in Chandler, AZ. This is a field welding role with strict safety requirements, requiring endurance for early start times and long shifts.

Qualified candidates will have 4–5+ years of journeyman welding, strong 3G/4G SMAW skills, and the ability to read drawings and E-sheets. Expect testing, background checks and a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years journeyman-level welding experience preferred.
• Strong 3G & 4G SMAW experience.
• Must pass a weld test.
• Structural and field welding experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Structural welding and joist upgrades.
• Grinding and steel preparation.

$65 per hour

STRUCTURAL WELDERS - INTEL CHANDLER

Location: Chandler, AZ

Pay: $47.00/hr Base + $18.91/hr Fringe = $65.91/hr Total Package

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Project Duration: Approximately 2 months

Positions Available: 40 Welders

SHIFTS

• Day Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Swing Shift: 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Work weeks may reach 50-60 hours, with holidays occasionally affecting the schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4-5+ years of journeyman-level welding experience preferred
• Strong 3G & 4G SMAW experience
• Must pass a weld test
• Structural and field welding experience strongly preferred
• Joist upgrade experience is a plus
• Ability to read drawings, E-sheets and details
• Reliable transportation
• Good attendance is required
• Must follow strict Intel safety requirements
• Must pass a respirator fit test
• Clean shaven required for respirator fit testing

JOB DUTIES

IMPORTANT: This is a field welding position, not a shop welding job. Candidates must be comfortable working in an active Intel construction environment with heightened safety requirements.
