About the Role

The Foreman of Guardrail Crew leads a 3-4 person crew in the installation of highway guardrail and cable barrier. Responsibilities include reading plans, conceptualizing and planning work, and completing foreman reports and other paperwork after training.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Experience leading a 3-4 person crew in the installation of highway guardrail and cable barrier.
  2. Must be able to read plans, conceptualize, and plan work.
  3. Must be able to complete foreman reports and other paperwork after training.
  4. Must be able to stand, bend, squat, sit, walk, climb, and lift 65 lbs.
  5. Experience providing leadership and motivation.
  6. Self-starter with the ability to get along with other crew members.
  7. Must pass drug tests and work well in a safety-conscious and drug-free environment.
  8. This position requires travel (vehicle, gas, and hotel accommodations provided by D&A).
  9. Usually, home for the weekends.
  10. Clean driver’s license is required.
  11. Class A CDL is a plus.

D&A is a Union Contractor who pays union scale wages and benefits. Wages vary based on the project and zone. For example, for Oregon projects, wages for a foreman are $50.13 an hour without zone pay. For Washington projects, wages for a foreman are $58.59 without zone pay.
