Job summary

JSET Automated Technologies is seeking a Foreman for low voltage and electrical construction in Columbus, OH, overseeing field crews and daily jobsite operations on active projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and productivity, read drawings, coordinate manpower and materials, and communicate plans with Superintendents and Project Managers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in low voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, or commercial electrical construction.
• Experience leading crews or in a lead role.
• Strong safety practices and OSHA knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily field operations on active job sites.
• Supervise, train, and support crews to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to complete work.
• Communicate work plans, schedules, and safety expectations to field crews.

• Resolve field issues and maintain team alignment.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, PMs, and other trades on site.
• Report progress, needs, and challenges to leadership.
• Complete daily logs and Pre-Task Plans (PTPs) in Procore.

Foreman – Low Voltage / Electrical Construction

JSET Automated Technologies is hiring Foreman to lead field crews and oversee daily jobsite operations on low voltage and electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate daily field operations on active job sites

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in low voltage, structured cabling, telecommunications, or commercial electrical construction
• Previous experience leading crews or working in a lead role
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and OSHA requirements
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to motivate crews and drive productivity while maintaining quality standards
• Experience working on large commercial, industrial, or data center construction projects preferred

Nice to Have

• Previous Foreman, Lead Technician, or Assistant Foreman experience
• Experience on data center, mission-critical, or industrial construction projects
• Familiarity with Procore or similar construction management software
• OSHA 30 certification

Work Environment

Physical, hands-on construction role with lifting, climbing, and outdoor/indoor work in varying conditions. Regular travel to project sites may be required.
