Job summary

Juniper Landscaping in Bradenton, FL is seeking an Irrigation Install Foreman to supervise a Landscape Construction crew on irrigation install projects. You will oversee employees, equipment, and materials to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and up to Juniper’s quality standards.

The role requires directing projects from start to finish, coordinating with project managers, and maintaining project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years irrigation experience.
• Experience with residential and commercial landscape plans.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise irrigation techs and crew on projects.
• Accountable for hours spent vs budgeted hours.
• Plan and schedule equipment and materials for irrigation work.
• Track project changes and coordinate change orders with the PM.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety program.
• Maintain and manage irrigation equipment.
• Perform irrigation duties with hand/power tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking an Irrigation Install Foreman to supervise and work alongside a Landscape Construction crew while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and with our quality standards in mind. This position will be responsible for directing projects from start to finish, including overseeing employees, equipment and materials needed for irrigation install projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and directing irrigation techs and crew members in completing projects


• Accountable for hours spend on projects vs. budgeted hours


• Planning and scheduling equipment and materials needed on irrigation projects


• Tracking project changes and coordinating with the project manager for change order requests


• Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with work safety program


• Ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and managed


• Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform irrigation duties


• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements

• Valid US driver's license and ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Report review (preferred)


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in irrigation


• Experience with residential and commercial landscape plans


• Supervisory experience preferred


• Knowledge of blueprints


• Effective oral and written communication skills


• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment


• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus


• Irrigation certification or ability to obtain certification


• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)


• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day


• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment


• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
