The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of supervisory welding shop experience, with ability to lift up to 100 lbs and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of Supervising in a welding shop setting is preferred.
• Operate all types of welding equipment and have a technical capacity.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Some traveling is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple employees and train them, evaluating performance.
• Plan, assign, direct and prioritize workload.
• Perform major and minor repairs on equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on heavy equipment and crushers.
• Maintain parts inventory and read blueprints.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with policies.
• Complete fabrication/maintenance duties and document work.
• Organize and supervise project teams to meet deadlines.
• Address complaints and resolve problems.
• Maintain repair records and diagnose equipment condition.
• Verify performance by operating equipment.
