Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of electricians and apprentices on job sites
  • Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to ensure project completion on time and within budget
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, panels, and fixtures
  • Ensure work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations
  • Conduct quality control checks and ensure adherence to project specifications
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades for seamless workflow
  • Train and mentor team members to develop skills and enhance performance
  • Complete daily reports, work logs, and documentation
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions to keep projects on track
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols on-site

Preferred Experience

Industrial experience, such as water treatment plants, process facilities, manufacturing, etc., is highly valued.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • High school diploma or GED; technical training or apprenticeship preferred

Licenses/Certifications

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required)
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with electrical tools, meters, and testing equipment

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Work in indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme weather
  • Lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, and work at heights or confined spaces
  • Travel to job sites as needed
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required
