Job summary

Ascent Resources seeks an experienced Completions Foreman to lead field operations in Cambridge, OH. The role reports to the Completions Director and requires strong leadership for completion and workover activities across the Ohio region.

Candidate must have extensive experience with horizontal completions, coil tubing, and related downhole tools, and be prepared for after-hours calls. Ascent offers strong benefits and a safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership/managerial expertise.
• Significant experience with horizontal completions is a must.
• Work over rig and coil tubing experience a must.
• Knowledge of frac, cased hole wireline, workover rig, coil tubing, and slickline operations.
• Understanding of downhole completion tools and slickline operations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Peleton software experience is a plus.
• Willingness for after-hours calls including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field completions operations on a front-line basis.
• Coordinate WORs, coil, frac crews, wireline units, pumping and flow back.
• Coordinate field consultants and ensure BMPs and EHS policies are followed.
• Manage completion and workover activities; lead the Ohio team of employees and consultants.
• Report daily using WellView and manage vendor relations with regular reviews.
• Assist procurement with tenders/RFPs and evaluate results.

Job description

Ascent Resources is seeking an experienced Completions Foreman. This position is located in Cambridge, OH and will report to the Completions Director.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Front line supervision of all field operations associated with completions
• Day to day coordination of WOR's, coil, frac crews, wireline units, miscellaneous pumping and flow back
• Coordination of field consultants
• Ensure all Ascent BMP's are implemented and updated
• Ensure that all operations are conducted under Ascent's EHS policies and procedures
• Manages completion and workover activities
• Manages the completion team in Ohio that consists of employees and consultants
• Analyzes problems and provides solutions to correct them
• Promotes safety culture to deliver top tier EH&S performance
• Manages vendors through daily/weekly communication and quarterly service quality reviews to resolve and eliminate service quality issues
• Responsible for managing daily reporting using WellView software
• Works with procurement to prepare tenders/RFPs and evaluates the results
• Other duties assigned as needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven leadership/managerial expertise
• Significant experience with horizontal completions is a must
• Work over rig and coil tubing experience a must
• High degree of knowledge of frac, cased hole wireline, workover rig, coiled tubing, and slickline operations
• Fair degree of knowledge of how downhole completion and slickline tools function
• Problem solving skills, management experience, and communication skills are necessary
• Peleton software suite experience is a plus
• The individual must be ok with after-hours phone calls including weekends and holidays

Education & Work Experience Required

Minimum Requirements:

• 8+ years supervising completion operations
