Job summary

Nor-Son Construction is seeking a Foreman in Minnesota to collaborate with construction crews and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks, develop worker schedules, and monitor project quality and safety at the job site.

The Foreman will ensure safety rules are followed, schedules are met, and the project remains on track while mentoring self-performing labor and maintaining thorough documentation for supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ construction experience in a supervisory role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with owners, subcontractors, and internal personnel.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
• A valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and a working telephone number are required.
• 5-7 years or more of previous construction experience.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

• Frequently works with/near machinery, electricity, power tools, impact tools, chemicals, fumes, and heights.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• This position will have occasional use and operation of motor vehicles and operate foot pedals.

Travel is required.
