Job summary

Groundworks Operations, LLC is hiring for a field leadership role that leads a high-performance crew in a local market. The position requires reviewing job specs, planning tool and material needs, and coordinating daily on-site work with a national support team.

Responsibilities include installing products and services, troubleshooting to meet timelines, and delivering top-quality customer service. You will also supervise and train Installers and Co-Foremen, and drive the company vehicle daily

Qualifications

• Experience leading crews or small teams.
• Strong communication and motivational skills.
• Basic construction or mechanical knowledge.
• Valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.
• Ability to enter crawl spaces and confined areas.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews job specifications to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed prior to reporting to the job site.
• Assesses conditions of the job once on-site; sets forth plans based on time allotment, tools needed, and order of work – assign duties to your crew for work to be performed.
• Installs products and services with the support of a national team of trained professionals.
• Innovates and troubleshoots situations as needed based on requirements to complete the job to meet company standards and timetables.
• Provides customers with superior quality and service while onsite performing work.
• Ensures all final documentation is done completely/accurately and is given to the proper parties.
• Supervises the crew and provides on-the-job training to Installers and Co-Foreman.
• Drives the company-provided vehicle to and from the job site daily.

Working Conditions

The position lifts heavy objects and/or up to 50 lbs., walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively lifts and carries heavy loads. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand and arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. It also requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina. Seeing with the ability to read reports, data, statistics and information on computer screens are required.
