Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Foreman to supervise operational activities for multiple aggregate sites, including Winterset, IA, with regular travel between Des Moines Portable 1 and remote locations. The role requires 4+ years in aggregate/mining operations, supervisory experience, and a valid U.S. driver’s license; a Bachelor's in a related field is preferred.

Job Summary

Martin Marietta is currently seeking a Foreman to supervise operational activities for Des Moines Portable 1. Responsibilities include supervising plant production, plant maintenance and mobile equipment operations across multiple sites as needed. This operation supports our Winterset, IA, Springfield, NE, and Fort Calhoun West, NE locations, as well as other sites as required. Regular travel between locations is an essential function of the position.

Work Environment

This job operates frequently in operations and maintenance environments in open pit quarry locations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
