Job summary

• Perform bearing and gear box replacements.

Job description

Job Specific Responsibilities

Working with blueprints and drawings Maintaining and servicing facility equipment including feed mills, elevators, ethanol plants, agronomy centers. Equipment service project examples:

• Bearing replacements (know how to measure one and how they function).
• Gear box replacement (know how to take tapered bushings off and how they function).
• Leg belt replacement and tracking leg belts (tensioning limits and cups and how they function).
• Conveyor belts and tracking them.
• Chain drags and how they operate
• Spouting (round and square and the lining inside of them)

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 to 10 years experience (Foreman level)
• Basic welding skills (no need to be a professional but familiar with the basics)
• Experience in measuring and layout (ability to measure transitions, square to rounds and envisioning finished product)
• Exposure to or experience working with cranes
• Experience working with forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts
• Ability to be comfortable working above the ground (not afraid of heights)
• Experience leading teams from the front and leading by example
• Maintain adequate knowledge of and always comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and Company Safety policies
• Daily local travel between client sites
• Experience providing superior customer service
