Job summary

JPJ Staffing seeks an on-site Construction Supervisor to lead our field team, ensure safety compliance, and manage daily construction activities. The role requires coordinating with the Project Manager, planning work schedules, and maintaining strong client relations on site.

The candidate should demonstrate excellent time management, problem solving, and organizational skills, with experience in commercial construction and pool industry preferred. Travel within the state may be required.

Qualifications

Essential Functions

• Deadline driven and experienced in construction.
• Ability to lead the on-site construction team and be responsible for orderliness, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Able to travel to work in the state where the job is for six months or longer.
• Determine the method of construction, materials quantities, equipment, work schedule and document of hours worked.
• Monitor compliance with company and site safety programs, documents, and ensures corrective measures are implemented.
• Knowledge of standard construction software and management process.
• Completes work on time in a professional and competitive manner.
• Maintains positive relations with clients, general contractors, and the community.
• Communicates effectively with team members.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure success on the project.

Skills and Abilities

• Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Commercial construction experience preferred.
• Prior pool industry experience preferred.

• Must be able to work in and/or with an organized team.

Compensation is based on skills, knowledge related to position and previous experience. This position offers a competitive wage that is paid weekly and includes retirement plan, Health Insurance, paid holidays, sick days, and PTO.
