Job summary

Wolf Tree, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking a Foreman/Foreperson for utility line clearance operations in Sevierville, TN. This on-site role leads crews, directs line clearance and tree trimming services for major electric utilities, and ensures safe, efficient completion of assigned tasks.

You will supervise team members and equipment, coordinate pruning and removal work, and maintain tools and lifts while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license required; CDL preferred and may be required depending on job requirements.
• Certificates and licenses if necessary.
• Pesticide license, if required by state law.
• Herbicide license a plus.
• Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines.
• ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide crew supervision and perform line clearing and tree trimming services for major electric utility providers.
• Prune treetops, trim or remove damaged trees, and remove broken limbs from wires, roofs, and other objects.
• Direct crew members and equipment; plan and execute assigned work and tasks.
• Supervise and assist in maintaining, preparing and operating tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Operate as part of a crew with Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber.

Job Duties

• Services provided include pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal as well as removing broken limbs from wires, roofs, and other objects
• Directs crew members and equipment as well as planning and executing the assigned work and tasks
• Responsible to supervise and assist in the proper maintenance, preparation and operation of all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
• Operates as part of a crew with supporting Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber
