Job summary

BHI Energy is seeking a CCP Foreman for the Roxboro Fossil Plant in Roxboro, NC. This long-term role involves directing and supervising day-to-day activities of direct reports on site, with reporting to the plant on site in Roxboro, NC.

Essential duties include coordinating between client personnel and the work group, conducting safety observations, and ensuring compliance with job descriptions and safety standards. Must have 1 year foreman experience and pass background/drug screening.

• Follow established safety practices; climb ladders and scaffolding if required.

Job description

BHI Energy is currently looking for a CCP Foreman at the Roxboro Fossil Plant, located in Roxboro, NC. This is a long-term position and does not pay any per diem or relocation fees. You will be responsible for day-to-day direction and supervision of work activities of direct reports within assigned areas.

You will report onsite to the plant in Roxboro, NC.

Specific Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of assigned personnel


• Augment and support assigned personnel in areas requiring additional assistance and at times where work demand his higher than expected


• Conduct and document focused observations of work activities for safety and operational improvement opportunities


• Provide direct coordination between client personnel and work group to understand daily and weekly work scope


• All duties and responsibilities contained within Job Description for those personnel being supervised


• Notify management of need for repairs

Additional Responsibilities

• Conduct and actively participate in Pre-Job and Safety Briefings


• Follow established safe work practices


• Use administrative documents, procedures, data sheets/forms properly


• Climb and work from ladders and scaffolding if necessary


• Capable of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required


• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.


• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• Must be able to pass background and pre-employment drug screen.


• 1 year foreman experience.
