Job summary

Holman Enterprises, in partnership with Audi San Diego, seeks a Shop Foreman to lead and mentor technicians in the service workshop. You will supervise daily operations, manage parts and tools, and coordinate with advisors, dispatchers and warranty staff to keep repairs moving smoothly.

The role demands 5–7 years of automotive experience, ASE certifications, a valid driver’s license, and a track record of improving service processes.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in the automotive field.
• ASE certifications current.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record or minimal violations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and assist with the development of technicians.
• Monitor and manage OEM certification and Holman training for each technician.
• Maintain inventory and readiness of special tools and equipment.
• Partner with regional TDA to assist with onboarding and career development for technicians.
• Serve as a liaison between the Service Manager, Service Advisors, Dispatcher, Parts personnel, Technicians, Warranty Administration and clients.
• Ensure quality control inspections and road tests are completed as applicable post repairs.
• Ensure adhesion to warranty policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Assign jobs according to technician/team skillset and workload requirements.
• Manage team goals, metrics, KPI's, work volume.
• Effectively coach, give performance feedback and provide development opportunities within own area of responsibility or department.
