Job summary

FIBA Technologies, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Foreman to oversee shop floor operations from tear-down through final inspection. You will enforce safety and ISO standards, maintain schedules, and drive lean improvements while leading a team across maintenance, QA, and engineering.

The ideal candidate brings 4–5 years of supervision in manufacturing, plus 5–8 years with DOT/ASME/ISO regulations and people development. Welding experience is a plus in this role.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 5 years supervision experience in the manufacturing area.
  • 5-8 years experience working with government regulations (DOT, ASME, ISO, etc) and supervisory and people development skills.
  • Preferred, but not necessary manufacturing experience in heat treating, steel, iron milling.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain production schedule and be able to put plans in place and complete plan on time
  • Establish priorities and sequence to maintain an even process flow of product from tear down to assembly to blast to paint to final inspection.
  • Maintain a clean work area and cleaning schedule for shop personal.
  • Work with other departments in coordinating efforts such as maintenance, quality control and engineering
  • A working understanding of the lean manufacturing system and operations, as well as ISO standard practices.
  • Ability to enforce rules and procedures, and document
  • Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.
  • Work with QC to implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
  • Reviews and enforces all Safety regulations.
  • Experience with DOT,ASME preferred.
  • Experience with welding equipment preferred.

Job description

The Manufacturing Foreman will oversee and coordinate day-to-day shop floor operations, managing the entire production sequence from tear-down through final inspection. This role is responsible for maintaining strict production schedules, enforcing safety (DOT/ASME) and quality (ISO) standards, and fostering a clean, lean manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will blend strong leadership and people-development skills with a deep understanding of process flow, cross-departmental coordination, and data management to eliminate operating problems and optimize productivity.
