Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Foreman to oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate crews, maintain productivity and safety standards, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to established requirements. This role requires strong leadership, communication, organization, and hands-on knowledge of field operations.

Position Responsibilities

Crew Supervision

• Lead and supervise field crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor employee performance and productivity.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.

Daily Operations

• Coordinate daily work activities, materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Monitor project progress and address operational issues as they arise.
• Ensure work is completed according to established schedules, quality standards, and specifications.

Safety & Quality

• Enforce workplace safety procedures and applicable regulations.
• Conduct or support jobsite inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure completed work meets quality and project requirements.

Project Coordination

• Communicate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide updates on project progress, staffing needs, materials, and potential delays.
• Help resolve field issues and coordinate solutions to keep projects on schedule.

Prerequisites

• Previous experience in a foreman, field supervisor, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of field operations, construction processes, or a related industry.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise crews and coordinate daily activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, or work instructions as applicable.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)

• OSHA safety certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Trade-specific licenses or certifications.
• Supervisory or construction management certifications.
