Boudreau Pipeline is seeking a Mainline Foreman to lead trenching, excavation and pipe installation crews in Corona, CA. You will supervise pipelayers, operators, and laborers, ensure safety, quality, and production targets, and coordinate with the Superintendent and inspectors.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in mainline or underground utilities, 2+ years leadership, a valid CA driver’s license, OSHA 30, and trench safety knowledge.
The Mainline Foreman is responsible for leading and supervising Mainline crews performing trenching, excavation, pipe installation, backfill, grading, and related underground utility work. This role ensures daily production goals, safety requirements, and quality standards are met across all Mainline operations. The Mainline Foreman directs equipment operators, pipelayers, and laborers, coordinates workflow, interprets plans and profiles, and ensures all work aligns with project specifications, BPC standards, and municipal requirements.

Physical Requirements: This position involves medium to heavy physical work typical of construction field environments. Employees are regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl on uneven or rough terrain for extended periods. Manual handling of tools, materials, and equipment is a routine part of the job. Employees must frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds safely, and may occasionally lift or move materials up to 100 pounds with the assistance of another employee or through mechanical means such as hoists, forklifts, or other lifting equipment. Proper lifting techniques, team lifting, and mechanical aids should be used whenever possible to prevent strain or injury. Employees must also use their hands and arms to handle, reach, and operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Work Environment: Work is performed primarily outdoors in active construction settings, including field operations and job sites. Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust. The noise level is frequently loud due to heavy equipment operation, machinery, and construction activity. Employees may also be exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, airborne particles, and other site-related hazards. All work must be performed in compliance with Cal/OSHA safety standards, and employees are required to consistently wear and properly use all designated personal protective equipment (PPE). Employees are expected to follow company safety policies, participate in required safety training, and promptly report any unsafe conditions to their supervisor.
