This role serves as a key on-site compliance leader, responsible for ensuring adherence to company policies, federal and state labor laws, U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Affirmative Action Program requirements.
This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role when operating or supervising Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) activities. The Foreman is responsible for both personal compliance and enforcement of DOT/FMCSA regulations across assigned crews.
Failure to comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal from safety-sensitive duties or termination.
