Job summary

Primoris Gas Operations in Balch Springs, TX seeks a Foreman to lead a construction crew on utility projects. You will supervise daily activities, ensure safety, read blueprints, and coordinate materials and equipment.

You will communicate with project managers and engineers, perform quality checks, mentor crew members, and maintain accurate daily reports. 3–5 years of supervisory experience and OSHA 10/30 preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience in construction.
• Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a crew.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.

Job Overview

As a Foreman at Primoris Services Corporation, you will lead and supervise a crew of workers, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a construction crew, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance.
• Enforce all company safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Manage and track equipment, materials, and supplies, ensuring their proper use and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and progress.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards.
• Train and mentor crew members, fostering a productive and skilled workforce.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, including crew hours, equipment usage, and progress updates.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, preferably with experience relevant to Primoris Services Corporation's project types.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a construction crew.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks associated with construction work.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or trade school certification is a plus.
