Job summary

CVS Health is actively seeking a US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate to join our pharmacy team in a structured internship program that prepares you for a Pharmacist role.

Under a preceptor, you will complete a learning plan, meet internship hours within 18 months, and pursue required licensure exams while gaining hands-on experience in dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and broader pharmacy services in our store network.

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college prior to beginning US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS
• FPGEC certification
• Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Counsel patients and provide care under supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers when allowed
• Maintain coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members
• Complete basic inventory activities and support pharmacy operations
• Travel to stores to cover shifts as needed by the business
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Deliver immunizations or point-of-care testing where permitted by law
