CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly-cleared candidates for foreign language instructors professionals to join our prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA.

Language's needed:

• Chinese Mandarin
• Japanese
• Turkish

What you will be doing:

• Our customer has an immediate linguist requirement for foreign language instructors with the required teaching experience and adult learning methodology.
• As an Instructors, you will provide 3-5 hours of instruction daily in courses at ILR 0-3. In addition to teaching, you will undertake tester training to become certified language testers and conduct 3-4 language tests per week, thereafter.
• You will be responsible for instructing adult students in speaking a foreign language and understanding the culture of the area or country in order to teach culture through communication.
• As an Instructor, you must be able to develop class materials and training aids to meet customized student needs

• The contract linguist instructor(s) shall have strong foreign language skills and will work under direction of experienced senior trained instructors.

• It is also important that candidates are familiar with current events in the countries where the foreign languages are spoken.

• As a contract linguist, instructors are required to receive specific sponsor training focusing on foreign language teaching and foreign language testing in order to become certified according to Sponsor standards

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• The instructors need at least 4 years of teaching experience, or a 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.

• B.A. must be obtained in the U.S. or in country of language skill.

Language Testing Requirements:

• All candidates will be required to take and pass the foreign language test administered by CACI accepted commercial testing vendors (3 hours standard translation test).

• Score at least a 4 or higher on the translation test and a 4/4/4 on thespeaking/listening/readingtest.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• TS/SCI with polygraph isrequired.Linguistscannot begin work on contract without a fully adjudicated security clearance.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.
