Job summary

Padgett Law Group is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to draft and file legal documents, manage client communication, and provide exceptional customer service. Located in Tallahassee, Florida, this role involves supporting attorneys in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely responses to correspondence, and maintaining high standards of service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drafting, preparing, and filing legal documents such as assignments, motions, affidavits, and more.
  • Ensuring timely, courteous, and thorough responses to a heavy volume of email correspondence.
  • Developing and maintaining congenial relationships with business associates and clients.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction.
  • Supporting attorneys in a high-volume, time-sensitive atmosphere.
  • Preparing and filing status updates prior to scheduled hearings.
  • Providing regular and timely client status updates and following up on outstanding documents and services.
  • Reviewing expired Notices of Default and communicating with the client to ensure the most updated figures have been received.
  • Monitoring for executed client declarations.
  • Filing client declarations with the court.
Requirements
  • Experience with client systems such as LPS, Tempo, Vendorscape and others (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with borrowers, clients, attorneys, other internal employees, and outside parties.
  • Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to multi-task and adapt to continual change.
  • Attention to detail.
  • High-level proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiency in internet research activities.
  • Good understanding of the legal process surrounding foreclosure (preferred).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Prolonged time sitting at a desk typing, using, and looking at a computer.
