Jobot in Columbia, South Carolina seeks an experienced Foreclosure Litigation Attorney to join our office.

You will manage all aspects of contested default foreclosure matters, representing creditors and mortgage servicers throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in South Carolina, in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, with foreclosure or real estate litigation preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all contested default foreclosure litigation matters from referral through resolution.
• Represent lenders, mortgage servicers, investors, and other creditors in South Carolina state courts.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents.
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as needed.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide legal analysis and recommendations to clients.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, litigation strategy, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines.
• Collaborate with paralegals and attorneys to manage workflow.
• Maintain accurate case management records and meet court deadlines.

We are seeking an experienced Foreclosure Litigation Attorney to join our Columbia, South Carolina office.

This attorney will manage all aspects of contested default foreclosure matters, representing creditors and mortgage servicers throughout the litigation process. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented litigator with strong courtroom experience and the ability to efficiently manage a high-volume caseload.

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
