Autodesk is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake, turning Salesforce, subscription, and hierarchy data into trusted analytics. You’ll own data pipelines, ensure reproducible numbers, and collaborate with sales leaders and analysts in a remote US environment.

The role emphasizes strong SQL, production-quality dbt practices, and clear communication with non-technical stakeholders, within the Revenue Operations organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering or BI development building models others rely on.
• dbt in production with tests and documentation.
• Strong SQL including window functions and incremental models in Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model: accounts, opportunities, line items and ownership.
• Ability to explain data problems to non-technical stakeholders and reach a decision.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake integrating Salesforce, subscription, billing, hierarchy and forecast data.
• Model data with a clear grain, stable keys and definitions aligned with the metric dictionary.
• Maintain history so published numbers reproduce the exact state from the publish date.
• Maintain mapping between accounts, territories, sellers and sales hierarchy as org changes.
• Reconcile data to Salesforce and Finance and diagnose discrepancies.
• Create datasets for weekly forecast, business reviews and leadership dashboards.
• Add tests and monitoring for freshness, completeness and accuracy; fix issues.
• Explain data issues and trade-offs to sales and finance partners and agree on fixes.
• Work in version control with code reviews and CI/CD.
