Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Data Scientist II on the Devices forecasting team to build econometric and machine learning models that project long-term demand and assess product value. You will translate model outputs into strategic recommendations for product roadmaps and portfolio decisions.

You will partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define metrics, data needs, and analysis plans while mentoring junior teammates and presenting insights to both

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data querying languages (SQL) or statistical software experience.
• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of machine learning and statistical modeling experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience applying theoretical models in practice.

Responsibilities

• Build and validate econometric and ML models for long-term demand forecasts.
• Assess incrementality of new products and quantify willingness to pay.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to scope projects.
• Communicate findings with clear narratives and visualizations.
• Mentor junior data scientists through code reviews and discussions.
