Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to support Digital forecasting initiatives, partnering with Supply Chain Planning and Analytics to build scalable forecasting solutions for Nestlé USA.

You will design production-grade models, embed AI into forecast delivery, and act as a liaison between technical and functional teams. You will drive ML model deployment, develop automated forecasting processes, and create Power BI dashboards to monitor KPI performance while collaborating with Marketing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in data science, forecasting or analytics with SQL/Python.
• 5+ years extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets and creating data visualizations.
• 3+ years deploying ML models in production (regression, classification, time series).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy forecasting models in production on cloud analytics platforms.
• Build scalable forecasting processes using ML Ops to automate weekly forecasts.
• Embed GenAI capabilities into forecasting workflows to improve accuracy.
• Explore deep learning and probabilistic forecasting across SKUs and data sources.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning, Marketing, Finance, and Sales to align needs with solutions.
• Advance Enterprise Forecasting as part of One Planning and improve order fulfilment.
• Deliver training and forecast office hours to boost analytics literacy.
• Create and enhance Power BI reports for forecast monitoring and data validation.
