Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Inventory Planner to analyze inventory data, forecast demand, and optimize replenishment orders to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock. The role collaborates with sales teams and internal stakeholders to improve inventory management.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in demand planning or related fields, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP, Blue Yonder, Oracle, Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years in demand planning, replenishment, inventory management, analytics or a related field.
• Proficiency in forecasting and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, Oracle, etc.). Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization tools.
• Experience interpreting user stories to create reports in reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau).
• Order Management System experience; Bamboo Rose a plus; SQL/Python/R experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting & Demand Planning: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, seasonal trends, and market insights.
• Utilize forecasting tools and models; monitor forecast accuracy and adjust models for fluctuations.
• Replenishment & Ordering: Optimize replenishment strategies and generate replenishment orders; adjust based on sales trends and promotions.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze inventory turnover, fill rates, stock levels; provide leadership with insights.
• Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work with Buyers, Planners, Allocation Analysts and Suppliers on inventory strategy and future forecasts.
