Job summary

Wonder, the mealtime platform, is seeking a seasoned Forecast Planner to own strategic and cross-functional initiatives across our supply chain. You will pull and analyze large data sets, identify risks to in-stock levels, waste, and event performance, and coordinate rapid corrective actions.

You will drive continuous improvement of supply chain technology, assist mid/long-term network design, and manage daily tactical operations to deliver a superior customer experience across our growing

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Demand Planning, and/or Vendor Management
  • 2+ years of working with and measuring forecast performance, preferably across multiple nodes of a supply chain
  • 2+ years of experience cross-functional with tech and non-tech teams; data-driven problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Build visibility into and monitor the health and performance of end-to-end planning systems
  • Run daily diagnostics on forecasting performance metrics to identify breaches and implement corrective actions
  • Identify exogenous demand sources and adjust forecasts accordingly
  • Support buying teams with stable long-term plans to optimize vendor partnerships

In this role you will use analytical, technical, program management, strategic and operations management skills to proactively identify risks to in-stock, waste, and event performance and rapidly coordinate corrective actions. This role will involve supporting continuous improvement within Supply Chain technology systems, mid/long-term strategic network design, and managing daily tactical operations of our network to drive a superior Customer Experience.The Impact You Will MakeBuild visibility into and establish monitoring for the health and performance of Wonder’s end-to-end planning systemsManage complex supply chain problems by partnering with cross-functional teams to identify simple, customer-centric solutionsIdentify sources of exogenous demand and implement forecasting and planning adjustments to account for themUnderstand constrained environments and proactively mitigate supply chain risks, escalating issues through proper channelsRun daily diagnostics on several forecasting performance metrics to identify breaches and implement corrective actionsDeliver industry leading results in four core areas: Service Levels, Instock, Waste, and Supplier PerformanceInitiate new ideas, create metrics, problem solve using data, and implement strategic solutions with far-reaching influenceSupport buying teams by providing stable long-term plans so we can better partner with vendors to ensure best-in-class customer experienceProvide input to Operations Product in the design and development of key Supply Chain systems and technology platformsCultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive standard work, alignment, and productivity optimizationWhat You Bring to the TableThe ideal candidate will have significant experience in Supply Chain Operations within the DTC/eCommerce or Fresh/Food Industry, with demonstrated success in both analytically intensive and operationally heavy roles. Success in this role requires the ability to pull, manipulate, and analyze large volumes of data while remaining agile enough to support real-time decision-making as planning challenges arise. A strong candidate excels at synthesizing multiple complex data inputs to refine forecast models, translating technical findings into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional partners, and staying highly organized to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.3+ years in Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Demand Planning, and/or Vendor Management2+ years of working with and measuring forecast performance, preferably across multiple nodes of a supply chain2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience2+ years of experience defining project requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsAdvanced SQL, Advanced Excel, and BI tool (preferably Looker) proficiency is requiredBachelors degree, preferably in a quantitatively rigorous course of study (not required though high mathematical aptitude is crucial to succeed in the interview process)As a matter of company policy, Wonder does not sponsor applicants for employment visa status for this role.Our working hours are aligned with the needs of our direct internal clients—the field locations—and we are expected to provide support when business demands require it.
