Job summary

Rydell of Independence, IA is seeking skilled Ford Service Technicians and Mobile Service Technicians to join our growing service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford vehicles in a state-of-the-art shop, with training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screening.
• Background check.
• Ford certification or ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, drivability issues, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information to identify and resolve concerns.
• Perform warranty repairs according to Ford standards and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate repair recommendations and timelines with service advisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety guidelines.

What You'll Do

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications
